In short the default ringtones seem to have a really low volume compared to many other phones imo. Any way to turn it up higher than the normal settings allow you to? Or do I need to install alternate ringtones?

If so, what are some good ringtone apps to handle this? I have thought about Foxyring, but after reading some of the comments about it, I'm not too sure it's the best for what I'm trying to do.

I have a problem related to ringtone volume also.
The volume is incremental until it reaches to the defined volume in configuration, but I would like to deactivate that feature and want to it to play in the defined volume from the 1st second the phone rings.
There's a reason for what I want, my wife usualy rings me once or twice so I will call her back. Since the volume is too low and never reaches to the configured volume.
Since I cant ear it I will not call her and that may cause some conflicts. :(

There is a setting called "rising volume" that you should turn off. Not sure exactly how to get there...still don't have the phone yet :(

But hopefully that helps!

Called VZW to complain about ringer volume and he said he checked his database on complaints they pass to Motorola and said it has not been reported. If you have issues with the volume like I do, besure to pass it to VZW so they can tell Moto.

I do not believe for one second that VZW and Moto are not aware of this. Just look how many folks have complained on this forum about it. I received a call yesterday and my phone was in my pocket. I didn't even hear the phone ring. That's just not right.
