Before the update from 1.5, I had no issues tethering my MacBook through my Droid Eris with PDANet. The phone function of the handset was the only operation that would interrupt the signal.
Since the update, my Eris interrupts my internet frequently, without apparent reason. It begins the annoying cycle of kicking me off the web, alerting me that the phone was not ejected properly, mounting, launching iPhoto (which I cannot prevent from happening), and then I have to exit PDANet and relaunch so I can reconnect. It's a juggling act! Sometimes this cycle will repeat five or six times before the phone and computer settle down.
What is going on here?
PS- I know the majority of Android users are PC advocates. I use Android because switching to AT&T to get an iPhone is impossibly expensive. ANY replies to this post that imply my problem is owning a Mac WILL be reported as abuse. I love Android and I love Apple and I love the 21st Century. I just want a solution to a simple problem, and I don't want any lip for owning a computer I ENJOY using.
