Root Battery Drain/Charge - HELP

Just installed SkyRaider 2.5.2 yesterday and radio 2.15. Using Launcher Pro+ and updated the notification bar to have the circle indicator.

The charge took almost five hours. (Which I see is a common thing)

However, when I unplugged my phone from charging this morning (9+ Hour charge) the battery went from 100% to 93% in about five minutes. It seems like I am losing 1% every minute or so until I reach 93%. Then it kind of stays steady.

CPU clock is running constantly at 600 MHz+.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Search around a bit, there's tons of thread on it. It's common and been a problem since the phone has been out. You're probably just now noticing it since your battery indicator tells you the charge percent more precisely now. Look into bump charging, you'll get a better charge that way.

What are you using the measure your cpu clock speed? It should ramp down lower than that when it's idle. I know system panel has problems reading the correct clock speed with certain kernels.

When my phone is at a complete IDLE (88%), my CPU is rocking out at 900+MHz.... I think this is what is causing my severe battery drain. Can any developers respond to this or can someone else advise? My sister who uses her stock phone with no root, etc is idling between 245MHz and 320MHz
