Auto Convert/Sync Movies & Music to Epic 4G with DoubleTwist!!!!

Just wanted to give you ya'll a heads up on a program thats been around but all may not be familiar with named DoubleTwist. Its a FREE PC program that will auto convert video to the correct codec & framerate of the Epic 4G (& other devices). The program also syncs music & pics as well. you might not need it, phone plays all popular known codecs. I throw in my xvid and divx and h264 movies and it all plays fine.

really, I just put in xvid avatar and it wouldn't play it.

EDIT: looks like that one was bad, I tried another AVI movie and it played fine.

I'm thrilled with my Epic's ability to play just about any codec/format I throw at it. I have several terrabytes of 720/1080 movies on my media server at home. No need to convert anything, just copy it over and it plays seamlessly on my Epic.

Now if I could just figure out a way to get movies that are larger than 4GB onto the SD card. With the SD card being FAT32 format, nothing over 4GB will copy. I have tons of 1080P movies that are 6.55GB and up that I would love to put on my Epic to watch. Looking for a way to get those to play on my Epic without converting which can be quite time consuming. I guess if I really need to put on of those larger movie files on the Epic, I could use DoubleTwist, but would really like to avoid that hassle if I can.

haven't had an issue with playing anything yet either....just drag and drop various formats and it plays (reminds me of my WinMobile Toshiba e800 pda from ages ago)....

not too get too much off topic, but anyone use RockPlayer? does this require some sort of encoding prior to use or just a better player than the stock one?
