Help switch function of a button on the keyboard

Hello everyone,

im using cellcom milestone and install a italian rom on it
i get the phone with a button on the keyboard that let u switch between the languages

this button located instead the menu button that on the keyboard

after i installed the italian rom this button function is pop up the menu
and not switching between the languages
can i return the function of this button ?

from the registry or any other way ?

Hi,

The function was assigned to the button only in the original ROM you had on it. In order to restore the function the original ROM would have to be restored, one specific to the country the phone came from.

There is no registry in Android and it will not be possible to modify that.

i will not restore to the previous rom because the fact that in motorola site there is only one operator ROM that not compatable to my cellular operator.

if there any way to assign the function of this button to switch between languages i will glad to hear it.
without to return to the previous one.

Not possible to reassign that function as this function is not even present in other ROMs.

Go here: sbf:milestone [And Developers]

and get the ROM you need.
