android x86 help.

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, didnt know where to put it.

I just installed android x86 1.6 on my eee pc 900, ( tried 2.x but it was very slow) 1.6 runs very nicely on it, i just need a few things to make it usefull.

How to I set up android x86 to sync with my google account the same way my mobile does?

The only reason i want android on my netbook is to sync my google calender and my gmail. on my in touch max, there is a google mail app, but i cant find a similar ap on the x86 version.

also, is there a way to access the android market from android x86?
