Fixes you want to see with or before 2.2!

Hey guys I know some people are having various issues, so I thought it would be pertinent to get a list of issues everyone wants before or to come with 2.2. Please only list issues that you've personally had. If anyone has a solid fix to the issues listed, a fix that would be just as good or BETTER than an official or suggested fix, then go ahead and suggest it.

• No LED Notifications: I know you can get NoLED, but you shouldn't have to. I would think it would be completely possible to have the four bottom buttons serve as the LED and turn on and off when you have a notification.
• Seeing the capacitive buttons in the dark: Why don't they turn on when I unlock the screen? Why don't they stay on when I'm using the phone? Not a huge issue as I kind of already know where everything is by heart, but could easily be fixed like the LED Notification.

List your issue and I'll add it to the list! If anyone knows if Samsung has a Twitter account, or if someone knows an email address, we should really let them know these issues and try to get them fixed!

I spoke to a samsung rep the other day and she said next month for the 2.2 update.

I'd wager their fix update comes before 2.2. I'd also wager they won't make the soft keys notifiers, but they will fix the timer on them.

Agreed. Even with my HTC Incredible which took like four months to get Froyo, it had a "patch" that addressed some issues probably 1-2 weeks after release.

Hmmm good to know so you mean we might have a 2.1 - update 2 or something? That would be nice, not as nice as 2.2 but a decent appetizer.

Yup, they also did the same thing with the OG Droid, before it got 2.1.

• More GPS Optimization (for those that are having issues with it)
• GPS turn-by-turn navigation volume increase
• Ability to alphabetize apps when using touchwiz in grid-view
• Ability to have folders inside the App-Drawer
• Ability to remove at least some of the bloat (without root). I mean some of it like the Verizon branding stuff is understandable, but good lord there is a lot of crap on this phone.
• As someone else mentioned use the capacitive touch keys as "alert LED's" when the phone is on standby.
• For those that it is an issue with, add a capacitive touch keys light settings such as a timer and/or stay on when phone is not on standby.
