Help A Few Questions About Apps To SD

As a result of the Desire having limited internal storage, I have recently been experimenting with moving apps to and from the SD card.

A few questions:

1) When moving an app to the SD card, does everything to do with the app move. Eg. The app and all the data?

2) Where on the SD card is the app stored? I couldn't find the apps on my SD card when using Astro view its contents.

3) Can you move an app too and from the SD card as much as you like with no problems?

4) When Angry Birds is stored on my phone it says it's around 13MB, yet when I move it to the SD card it's under 2MB. Why is this? Where does the rest of the data go?

5) If an app is stored on the SD card, do any updates for the app automatically store on the SD card as well? Will they then move with the app if/when it's moved in future?

Cheers in advance.

1) When moving an app to the SD card, does everything to do with the app move. Eg. The app and all the data? No, the froyo implementation does not. It does not move the dalvik cache. The root version does but its still not everything

2) Where on the SD card is the app stored? I couldn't find the apps on my SD card when using Astro view its contents. I read earlier that its /sdcard/.android_secure

3) Can you move an app too and from the SD card as much as you like with no problems? Moving files always has the minimal risk of corruption, but essentially yes

4) When Angry Birds is stored on my phone it says it's around 13MB, yet when I move it to the SD card it's under 2MB. Why is this? Where does the rest of the data go? Cache, see answer 1

5) If an app is stored on the SD card, do any updates for the app automatically store on the SD card as well? Will they then move with the app if/when it's moved in future? Updates are generally new versions of apps. I'm not sure on this one. do it and check ;)

Cheers in advance.
