Post Your Vibrant Screenshots!

How did you make the samsung app icon your app icon in launcher pro? I couldn't find it anywhere.

Some one had it in the Launcherpro forums. I'll save you the search and attach it.

Hold down the screen -> select shortcuts -> select launcherPro activities or LP shortcuts. The activities feature is very similar to better cut where you create a shortcut for a specific activity. Click on the icon and it allows you to pick one from your gallery.

LP Dock: hold a spot on the dock and a pop up asks you to select a shortcut and allows you to change the icon.

I knew that, but how do you place the icon packs downloaded in the gallery? I only have the LP icons in my gallery.

Does anybody knows how to change the dock icons with better cut? I can change them around on the desktop, but not the dock.

You don't need to use better cut in the dock. Launcher pro gives you the option to use custom icons.

You can also press and hold and select "change icon" and select "custom icon" if you've already added a shortcut.

I know how to change with the LP icons. I'm trying to use the icon packs from the market that I used to change every other icon in my desktop with better cut.

so I'm a new droid user and I have the Samsung Vibrant right now. Now these displays you guys have are seriously something else and i was wondering how do i go about getting something along those lines? Any place to go to learn about it for newbies? :D

You're in the right place :)

Most of the stuff you see can be done with downloads from the marketplace.

LauncherPro (free) - (or LauncherPro PLUS-paid) will basically replace your default launcher allowing you much more customization options.

BetterCut - will allow you to change icons for applications on your home screen(s)

Then there are things called "icon packs" that will give you different icons to use with BetterCut.

I suggest you go into the marketplace and search for some icon packs :)

okay thank you, any free version of better cut?
and also, how do you get the battery and time to display as text? ( i.e seventy percent for battery and 5 minutes to eleven for text)
and how did bradanomics earlier in this thread get his pandora and weather apps to display like that? are those apps?

EDIT: i just installed launcher pro and it changed how the display worked on my phone and now i'm lost  any where i can read a guide on how to work this?

Mine isn't that great: it's just some icons I made/altered.

My favorite part is the live wallpaper (combined with beautiful widget) that changes depending on the weather. The location of the sun/moon also changes depending on the time of day :)

Anyway, this is my "main" page:

you said you made / altered your icons? How did you manage to do that? Is there a program or did you use paint/photoshop?
