Titanium Backup Question

Sure.
I'm assuming you want to be able to put it back on your phone if ever needed?

Dont see why this wont work.

Are you trying to free up space on your SD card?

Yes, unfortunately I have only a 4GB SD card at the moment trying to save for a 32GB SD Card but damn bills and everything else piling up to my neck so I'm stuck with 4GB for now. Thank you!

Titanium defaults to the internal SD card, not the external card. For that matter, I don't know if you can change that; I didn't see that option under Preferences. It also uses compression to save space. I expect you need to put it any backup on the internal card for Titanium to find it when doing a restore.

You should have more than enough space on your internal SD card, unless you have it filled with music, videos etc.

I have a LOT of apps, and my Titanium folder is only 500MB.

And yes, you can take anything off either SD card and save it on your desktop/laptop. I do this routinely when making any significant changes such as changing a ROM.
