The madness of not syncing Google bookmarks

Hi. Can someone more up to speed and deeply into Android than me please enlighten me as to why, when Android is a Google OS, and presumably the inbuilt browser app is therefore a Google app, that Google bookmarks are not synchronised like google contacts, google mail and google calendar.

I have had an Android phone since G1 and had a Desire for almost a year and have always been waiting for Google bookmark sync.

There seem to be apps that will pull in google bookmarks into the browser, but that is of limited use. I want to bookmark something on my phone and have it available in iGoogle on my mac or my work PC. It's really not hard and can't for the life of me fathom why Android doesn't do this out of the box.

Please enlighten me.

Thanks.

Probably for similar reasons as to why any number of Google apps and services aren't integrated with Android and other Google products/services.

...and there are countless features that get the same comments from various people. There aren't infinite development resources. Have you looked into bookmark sync options at all? I'm not sure why everyone thinks every single possible feature should be included out of the box.

Have you at least requested or promoted this feature request with Google?
