I installed the app Fast Reboot the other day and it works great except after using it I found it caused my in call screen to only stay lit for 2 seconds at a time unable to punch keypad without hitting unlock button every 2 seconds. Anyone else having this issue?

It could be that Fast Reboot un-did your timeout setting.

Make sure that you have the timeout set properly in your settings.

Then test it by Fast Rebooting and see if the prob reoccurs.

I have the paid version so that I could whitelist apps I didn't want killed during a Fast Reboot.

I think you're on to something here. I've noticed the behavior the OP mentioned.

On another note, the first few days I had my Fascinate, it would lock up and become unresponsive for anywhere from 10 seconds to what felt like a full minute. I noticed that it would get a little laggy (the pulldown bar would "skip" down the screen, swipes weren't immediate, etc) before the lockup. I installed Fast Reboot and now when I notice the slow down, I run Fast Reboot. I have not had a lockup of more than a few seconds since. Maybe I'm lucky, but I thought it was worth passing on.

Just used Fast Reboot ealier, after using it for a while previously...

Now  all of a sudden I get "Sorry! The process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." every 30 odd seconds AND on top of that can no longer access the settings without seeing "Sorry! The application Settings (process com.android.settings) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."

I have tried shutting down, hard reset, powering on without sim, powering on without sd, tried using it again... tried uninstalling everything? :(

Can't do a master reset because obviously I can't access the settings!!!!

Other than that the phone works fine...

This is beggining to annoy me very much, any help or ideas would be appretiated. In the mean time i suggest everyone leave this application alone.

[EDIT]

No worries guys just did hard reset. All working fine now - Fast Reboot caused this problem, Will never use again.
