Whats the most comfortable pair of bluetooth headphones out there?

I just got a pair of $30 motorola's and its truly liberating to cut out the wired headphones from the equation. I love the experience except that after a few hours my ears are tender, which sucks!

Given how much I love the wireless aspect, I'm willing to send back the ones I bought if I can find a pair of great quality and especially comfortable for extended periods of wearing.

Any recommendations, audiophiles?

this is going to be very hard to answer..
because everyone has different size and shape ear.
and different size ear hole.
and different things that make them feel comfortable.

i use a plantronic voyager.
it came with different size ear hook and can be on left or right side. It also came with 3 different size soft ear buds.

the hook is too large for my ear.. I want it a little smaller.

you might want to find one..
that is light weight.
with changeable buds and hooks.

I use Motorola S305 and really like them. They are very comfortable, I wear them at work for hours at a time with no discomfort, I wear glasses too.
I am now using PowerAMP and my tunes sound pretty dang good. For what I paid (around $35) I couldn't be happier!
Oh, they have controls (pause/play, ff, back and phone plus volume) on the ear piece and work incredibly well for phone calls.

i do have the S305 ones you have. I went back and read the reviews and saw many people saying they were very comfortable.

i think this might have to do with my ginormous ears. And my small head because the neckwrap extends about an inch beyond my neck. I promise I'm not horrible looking. When I turn my head, it will rub against my shirt collar and my car seat...things like that.

Maybe I can think of a simple lifehack for it. Maybe wrap a thin, soft material around the plastic that go over my ears. i dont know what i have handy for that

Yeah, the 'band' does stick out in back. I really just use them sitting at my desk so it's not bothersome, but I can see where it would be for any type of serious movement or activity.
I sort of make sure the band thingy is straight out, not tipping down. When I move the ear piece to accomplish that it stays and is comfy. I don't know how to explain it.
I also have long hair so that covers up any collars mostly, it never touches my neck directly. There is the solution...grow your hair

The jaybird bluetooth headphones look really nice. I have never tried them, but they are spoken highly of, and on my "one day I will have those list."

I started out with one of the first gen motorola BT head phones and those things just hurt the back of my ears after wearing them for a while, and the pleather started to twear on me after a while. Lately I have been eyeing these ones here

a Sony Ericsson in ear BT headphone that doesnt have the traditional plastic piece around your head annoyance, instead its just the connecting line between the two ear buds which I imagine would be pretty comfy. Only gripe about them is that the battery life doesnt last that long and also theres no skip song feature on them. Other than that it looks good to me. Maybe you can be my guinea pig and take the dive on 'em before i do =P

I wish some of the better headphone companies (Klipsch and Senheiser come to mind) would make bluetooth versions of their earbuds or headphones. I love my Klipsch S-4's, but I just wish there was a blue tooth alternative to them. I can't say I've had earbuds that sound better than these. They have the perfect highs, awesome mids, and lows deep enough to jiggle your eardrums. Depending on the output source, they can get loud enough to leave a ringing in your ears, though with my Evo (and poweramp, of course) they don't get THAT high. I consider that a good thing.
When you can hear someone's music while they have earbuds in, and it gets LOUDER to the point of clearly hearing it several feet away when they take them out, I think that's too much. My petty officer (before some stupid ban was put in place preventing recruiters from PT'ing with their DEP'ers) listens to her music that way when we do our runs. I can't understand how either... at that volume, even with my messed up ears and partial hearing loss, it would totally kill my ears. It would add onto the already ever-present ringing I have... =(

yes, it has controls, it is perfectly comfortable indefinately. I wear them under ear sound dampeners (yard work) and after about an hour, it does hurt, but that's mainly because the eargaurds press my ears on them weird.

i should have mentioned this, but i dont really need mindblowing audio quality...i pretty much do 95% podcasts and 5% music. full spectrum awesomeness is not the priority for me
