Help HDMI cables don

I purchased an HDMI cable for my Droid X from Amazon.com and when I tried it out it didn't do anything. I don't have wi-fi, I just want to watch my videos on my tv. It' s a Vizio, about 3 years old. Don't know if its my tv or my DroidX. Again, nothing happens when plugged in.

Once you plug it in and your TV is on start a video on your phone and it should enable the HDMI out.

On some tvs, you have to change the input to hdmi

You need to hit the hdmi icon in the upper left of the screen. Hope that helps.

That was it, thanks! I feel stupid but their really aren't any instructions. This site is great.

Glad I could help. In 2.1 it was automatic, also be sure to put your phone in airplane mode as a call or text will interrupt your viewing.
