Wildfire froyo 2.2

Hi I have a wildfire which is currently running on android 2.1, I am a virgin media customer (unfortunately), I read a official statement on Twitter from Virgin stating " froyo 2.2 was being released for the HTC Desire and Wildfire" Only now the update has been released for the desire but NOT for the wildfire. All virgin will tell me is that HTC havent released the update for the wildfire yet.

I really want this update...

So please help HTC, please please please give me some idea of when this update will be available for us wildfire users. If you can you will make one wildfire user a very happy lady!!!
