The legal problem is only for Swype and the person distributing the software.. Posting "Hey you can find the software over there ---->" is not illegal.
You are legally able to say where something is, just don't distribute it.
Kinda like anarchist cookbook, "Hey this is how you make a bomb, Just don't do it".. It is illegal to make a bomb, but not where and how to find the info... So having a single post listing locations of boards that MAY have a post about something is ok.. I have no problem with this board saying "You cant post that file on here" but people should be able to post.. "But you can find it at http://whatever.com"..
Just don't post the direct link to the file here or you'll violate the rules of this board, but you CAN post a link to a place that has the direct link or where the information could be found to the link.
