I was on Cnet just last night and saw that Rovio said they weren't planning to release the halloween pack or christmas pack for anything OTHER than iproducts

Best news evar to add to this, I got this in an email:

Payment option and performance upgrades to follow
We are still working on two things for the Angry Birds games on Android:

First, we are bringing a graphically lighter option in the game, to enable better performance on older phones.

Second, we will introduce a payment system to opt-out of advertising.

Both of these upgrades will be included in later updates.

A paid version with no ads? I'm in heaven!

UHH, This seems to have REPLACED my regular angry birds, did it wipe my accomplishments?! Did it replace everyone else's Angry Birds?

It didn't replace my original Angry Birds game, this Seasons version is supposed to be a separate game from the original.

I didn't think it was supposed to, but I only have the Angry Birds icon with the christmas hat now. Weird...

Downloaded it and three-starred the first Christmas level. What a neat idea for an advent calendar!

I now wonder if steve jobs will be pissed at this...as he wsa probably rubbing his hands together laughing like an evil genius thinking that only his iproducts would have it..

cant you just turn your actual internet connection off? I can with my Desire and my other half can with her Wildfire...that way no ads at all and the games (ANY of the advert ones) work just fine.

I stopped seeing ads in Angry Birds when I installed Adfree, available from the market.

I am happy it does the same for Angry Birds Seasons.

However, don't get me wrong, if they offer a pay version, I will fork over the few bucks so they can make more levels and versions.

WTF I have tried to download it 10 times and each time it says that it cannot be installed....

yea...you play it...like...well...normal enjoy

on a more noteworthy note....there is an app already up I believe that will unlock it, BUT if its like the one for the original game its only for rooted phones...I still think its a waste and takes the fun out really..

How'd you 3* the Christmas level? I'm 3 starring the eff out of halloween, but I'm stuck on xmas.

woohoo finally beat the first level and I 3 strraed it,

not fully sure how as it was kind of luck.

firt bird i shot just above the rock thats righ infront of you
yellow bird i shot a little higher and it took out a row straight through to the opposite present
thrid bird i shot at the snow below the top most gift, this caused the rocks to fall and take out the rest of the birds and the gift too.

score i got was 61410

Edit: update just tried again and got a few thousand points more.

I promised myself I would beat the original game before moving on to this.
...It's so hard not to.
