Can anyone tell me where I can find the install file for this app on my phone? I'd like to back it up so I can use it again, since HTC decided to be dicks and send them a C&D and make them remove it from the marketplace.

I've already used Astro File Manager to search all directories for the file but can't find it or any widget for that matter. Do widgets save in a different location?

And as I stated in the other thread...

For those of you that have the Beautiful Widgets installed,
you would also want to backup this folder --> \sdcard\data\beautifulwidgets
That is where the animations are installed.

Without backing up that folder, should you need to reinstall someday, the widgets wouldn't work without those files as well.

thanks! good to know.

How do you back up that folder? Using Astro, when I go into tools ==> backup, I only get the option to back up full "Applications".

Thanks.

Both the apps backup (from ASTRO) and the animated files already exist on your sdcard. But what you need to do now is to backup your sdcard should anything happen to it. Here's a link to POST #18 in the thread titled "SDCard Erased - A reminder to backup".

Hope that helps. :)

Ah, NOW I know what you mean. I was wondering why you were saying to back up a folder from the SD card to the SD card itself..haha..I need coffee. :D
