Root flashed rom now need some help

So I rooted last night.... then I flashed my first rom. Now i'm not sure how to get the rom back to the stock rom.

Just make sure before flashing anything to do a nandroid backup via recovery. That way, if you don't like the ROM or you have an issue, you can just restore to a previously known working version. (in your case, the stock ROM)

i have a question about the backups, right now I'm back to my stock rom so that I can get a clean backup of this just in case anything happens. I have a few roms that I have a few roms that I would like to try out. I have rom manager and the titanium back up and have a couple of question about those programs.

1) the rom manager give me the option to install new roms, but does that mean that each time I want to switch, I need to install new rom from sd card? There has to be a better way to do this?

2) Titanium backup give me the option to back up all user data + system data, after flashing a new rom the info seems to be moved into the new rom. Do I need to do anything else or does titamium backup to this for me?

If you want to flash a new rom then yes that it the only way to do it (install zip from sd card). But when you make a nandroid back up all you have to do it restore the nandroid if you want to go back to the rom you backed up. So you don't have to reflash the zip.

Before you flash any rom, you should always make a nandroid backup of your current rom to take you back to exactly where you are now if you need to. You can do this by booting into recovery or through rom manager (assuming you have clockwork). When you want to try out a new rom, you can use rom manager to download the rom to your sd card and install it. If you like a rom and have your apps installed, etc. but want to try out more, just make a nandroid backup of the rom, and flash another one. When you want to go back, nandroid restore.

As for titanium backup, apps and app data are all I ever backup/restore. I just remember how I have my settings and change them when I flash I new rom. Yes, takes longer, but you avoid any potential incompatibilities. Also, be careful with batch restore even with apps. You can still end up restoring something that belongs only on one rom. As for your specific question, are you saying all your apps are already there or that they were after you restored with titanium backup, manually? Remember to always wipe data when switching roms and restore your apps/data with titanium.
