Lock Bar

Is there any way to have the lock bar appear lower in the lock screen?

Not with the native lock screen, no.

You could try getting some alternative home screens or lock screens from the Market, but it's probably better just to get used to it.

Yeah... thought that. Tried the Lock 2.0 Trial, and that app was horrible.

The only reason I want it is that the position of the current bar is covering my son in his picture.

So much for customizing!

What didn't you like about Lock 2.0? My problem with it is that pressing the volume buttons will turn on the screen. Otherwise, I think it's pretty good. I just wish there were other apps out there to compete, but that was the only alternative to the stock lock screen.

At first, it was fine. LOL, I like that it reminded me of my iPod Touch.

The picture was replaced w/ the picture of the world after the third time the phone was locked. It also switched the display of the date and time.

Hmm. That's weird. I set my personal background and that never changed. Neither did the date/time. Funky. Must be some weird bug.
