Help yahoo email setup

Is there a certain way that you have to setup yahoo email? Everytime I go to set it up says thatthe username and pw is incorrect and I know I'm putting it in right....any help would be appreciated.

You cannot be on Wifi while doing this- for some reason, Yahoo email will not work while on a Wifi connection.. I am looking into this at work tomorrow, you can PM me to see what I find out, if you like..

There are two ways that I've heard of. They both have problems in my book
1) There's some funky way you can Google where you can change a setting in your account to Asia and back. Then you can use POP to retrieve mail. It works, but POP mail is pull. Meaning the phone has to ask for mail, uses up more power, you don't get mail as fast. Doesn't handle folders etc. etc.

2) You can use IMAP to access Yahoo mail but it only works over cell networks and not over WiFi. What I've been trying to find is a program or setting that knows that and even if WiFi is enabled, will connect over 3G to access mail. I haven't found it yet, but if someone knows of a way please speak up.

There's a program I ran across while browsing AppBrain today called ROID 1.0. It claims to check Yahoo! mail via 3G while connected to a Wi-Fi network. However, it appears to be a stand-alone app similar to the Gmail App and does not integrate with the HTC Mail App. I don't own an Incredible, so obviously I can't offer a personal endorsement of the app or even test it, but I'm sure someone out there is willing to give it a try.

(Just a personal aside, but as a Yahoo! mail user, having to jump through all these hoops to get my personal account to sync properly with the device is a bit off-putting, and something I will have to consider when I upgrade my BlackBerry. I know, I know. "Just switch to Gmail," everyone says. But I've had the same Yahoo! account since the mid 90s, and I'm too deeply entrenched too switch easily.)
