1. Can you adjust the bluetooth volume independently of the main volume?
2. Can you set the bluetooth to turn on/off automatically at a certain time? Like can I have it turn on automatically at 5 when I am off work? Is there an app for that? lol
3. Does anyone know a good program for identifying a song playing on the radio? All I could find was something called Midomi Music Identifier. I don't mind playing for apps, but I was wondering if this is worth it and/or is there a better one paid or free out there?
4. Can I create a new profile for a different ringer setting. I use a profile scheduler and I would like a single ping with vibrate for work and regular ringer for home. The vibrate on the phone is not very strong so it's not working out too well, and I don't want to leave the normal ringer on at work. My only options seem to be silent, vib, ring and vib+ring. Can I create more like I could on my BB?
5. I loaded a full length movie onto my phone (star trek) and after about 30-45 minutes of playback the video becomes choppy and the audio is not synced properly. I tried a couple more MP4 videos and the same thing happened anywhere from 30-60 minutes in. I am using the standard video player installed on the phone. Anyone else experienced this? Would an aftermarket player work better? The same video files works fine on my Zune and Itouch. I am using cucusoft dvd to MP4 converter software...is there a special setting I should set the conversion to?
6. Does anyone want to buy a used BB 8130? :)

Thanks for your help :)

Toggle Settings has profiles you can set for certain times. I haven't tried the profiles, but I use the app. I just played with the profiles. However, one *note*, if you turn on the profiles to play with them and then you uncheck the Profiles in the Settings, everytime you reboot your phone, it seems to load those Home profile settings. Also, the Home profile settings is FULL VOLUME. heheh I didn't know this at first. I restarted my phone and BOOM it was loud. I changed the volume, rebooted, it was FULL VOLUME again. Then I figured out it's the Home Profile, so I just enabled the Profile tabs and Edited the Home profile. I wonder if uninstalling/reinstalling would remove the default profile and then stop loading it at boot time.

Another app, which I haven't tried, is called timeriffic. It gets very high ratings.
I just read about it again:
Control mute, vibrate, brightness, wifi and airplane on/off custom to your schedule.
Create your own profiles, by time and day.

Maybe not what you are wanting.

The full version is $9.99. But I'm pretty sure that the beta is still free. That does everything I've needed.

Locale v0.695 beta Application for Android | Productivity

The Beta is no longer available, it is now a paid app only. This is directly from their site:

Locale 1.0 (December 23, 2009)
Although Locale is now a paid app on the Android Market, we are donating to charitable organizations! Please suggest and vote on causes that are important to you through the feedback website!
  • Upgrading from beta
    • Since Locale 1.0 is a completely new application, it may be installed simultaneously with 0.695 beta. Actually running both services simultaneously is not recommended though
    • Situations, conditions, and settings cannot be transferred from the beta to 1.0
    • Fully compatible with existing 3rd party plug-ins. (two forty four a.m.'s own plug-ins received a minor update over the last week to match the new UI)
  • Overview
    • Entirely new app
    • Significantly more reliable
    • Better battery life
    • Support for small screen/low resolution devices (e.g. HTC Tattoo)
    • Support for large screen/high resolution devices (e.g. Motorola Droid)
    • Improved readability on devices with non-standard UI skins, such as the Hero
    • Multiple conditions of the same type (OR operator) in a situation, accessed via a long-press on the "Add Condition" button
    • Multiple settings of the same type in a situation, accessed via a long-press on the "Add Setting" button
    • Locale now always shows a notification while the service is running for improved reliability. This notification cannot be disabled due to new limitations introduced in Android 2.0. Without the notification, Locale would not be able to run reliably in the background
    • Dutch localization. If you're interested in helping translate Locale into your language, let us know!
    • Hundreds of bugs fixed! If you find any new bugs, let us know and we'll fix them ASAP!
  • Battery Condition
    • Now supports 5% increments
    • Significantly improved detection of plug and unplug
  • Calendar Condition
    • Removed for the time being due to many bugs; will return in the future!
  • Contact Condition
    • Now lasts for the duration of a call, rather than just while the phone is ringing. One hypothetical use case: enabling Bluetooth for the duration of a call
    • Support for Google contact groups
  • Location Condition
    • Significantly improved location detection and reliability. No longer rapidly bounces between situations or Defaults when accuracy is low or when entering a building
    • No longer necessary to leave Wi-Fi enabled all the time. Instead, Locale may periodically enable Wi-Fi for about 1 second to determine location when necessary
  • Orientation Condition
    • New condition to detect physical face up or face down orientation of the phone
  • Time Condition
    • Now detects and handles time zone changes automatically
    • Supports 0-length time spans for triggering an event at a certain time
    • Supports correct first day of week for different countries
  • Display Setting
    • Replaced by the individual Brightness and Screen Timeout settings, allowing these to be adjusted independently
  • Brightness Setting
    • Support for auto-brightness on devices with an ambient light sensor
  • Screen Timeout Setting
    • On Android 2.0 devices, the timeout intervals are now consistent with the Android 2.0 settings
  • Wi-Fi Setting
    • Fixed concurrency issues that could cause the Wi-Fi setting to fail if Locale was simultaneously checking location (for this reason, do NOT use third party plug-ins that interact with Wi-Fi)
  • Developer Platform
    • Preliminary support for plug-in conditions
    • Storing extras directly in Intents is deprecated in favor of using a well defined "com.twofortyfouram.locale.intent.extra.BUNDLE" Bundle
    • Dynamic sharing of string and drawable resources
    • Backwards compatible with old plug-ins
  • Known Issues
    • The Wallpaper setting can sometimes be quirky, especially if another situation happens to change the wallpaper while you are picking a wallpaper.
    • The ability to search for location by name does not work under Android 1.5
    • Drag-and-drop reprioritization of situations behaves strangely under Android 1.5
    • The Motorola Cliq will reboot frequently while using the Location condition. Motorola is aware of the issue, although they have not committed to a fix at this time. (Let Motorola support know that this is important to you, so that they'll pay attention and fix this issue!)
    • All Samsung devices are incompatible with the Location condition. Samsung is investigating the issue.

I have used several apps to create ringer profiles. To me, Ear is the best for MY needs.

Don't need time or location dependent switching. Just want it to switch easily to ring on / off, vibe on / off, BT on / off, GPS on / off, WiFi on / off.

That, it does very well.

I used an app called quick profiles, and I can create plenty of new profiles...but I cannot change them automatically. I am not too concerned about changing the profile based on my location, but something that will allow me to BOTH: create AND automatically change profiles based on time and day is what I am looking for...

Shazam - look no further.

I concur with this, This app nails it every single time even on brand spankin new songs and it saves your tags and will search you tube for you if you feel like listening to it or you can buy it too.

and its free. it listens for 10 seconds and about another 10 seconds of doing its thing and there you go.

i wish i knew how this app worked, i find it mind blowing
