So I got a new Tb yesterday, And was setting things up. Got my home screen the way I wanted it and so forth. Everything was working fine..However, there are a couple of widgets that don't seem to be connecting properly..The friends feed and Instant messenger. Yesterday I had them both connected and updating at a frequent and lively basis..Now suddenly Neither one seems to be responding properly..My Instant messenger wont connect with the widget or sign me in..And my friend stream widget is no longer updating...I'm sure I clicked something to cause these problems, only question is what?..Because I don't know..So if there's any suggestions out there to help me reestablish my live and current connections with these widgets and associated programs please let me know..

S,

P.S.

LOL, I feel ya on that one, unfortunately my situation did not allow me to sit and wait for some of the new phones coming out with dual core processors. But in terms of speed I am completely satisfied. I came from an original Droid, so this is definitely an upgrade. As far as my connection problems went, with HTC and their widgets u have to sign into the vrz account in order to use the widgets, unlike the droid.

I also have a new problem, my texts will not go through, I use handcent and every time I try to send a text it says it failed, and something about error 2...any clues on why this is and what I can do to fix it?

Aw, I was just messing around with you. I am fine without dual core seeing as how this is still a stupid-fast phone.

I uninstalled Handcent and went to GoSMS. When I had Handcent things just didn't work as smoothly as I wanted, but lots of people here use it with no problems. I had texting issues the first two days I had my bolt, but then the problems just went away...not sure why...not sure how...

Anybody know how to help this guy?

Well, I pulled the battery a couple of times, And it didn't seem to help..But last night I tried again, And apparently it worked..Texts seem to be going through now..Again, Thank you guys for your help and suggestions..

Now, My only problem, Is this damn battery!..What on earth were they thinking giving this phone such a small battery!?..God, I remember the days where I could charge my phone and it would last 2-3 days before needing to be charged..And even then it was still a quarter full..So I can't help but think Verizon and HTC had planned this all along..Knowing we were going to invest another 50-80 bucks on a second or extended battery!...BAH!..

Another concern would be the build quality of this phone. It doesn't feel quite like a lego phone, But it's definitely not as sturdy as the original droid which is made from steel. Do you think it could handle a couple of low drops here and there? I want to get a case so bad for my phone, But I also want an extended battery, And those things are so thick, Therefore I'd need a different case...Bah, I'm tellin ya, They had this planned from the start!
