Has anyone successfully created a contacts group??

I can't for the life of me do it on this phone while it was so easy to do on my Thunderbolt.

I can create the group with the name, but I can't for the life of me add any contacts to the group. It says search and if I type in a name, nothing ever comes up.

Any suggestions?? Thanks!

What I did was find the user from the contact list pressed down and held(on the name) till menu popped up. Then selected add to group from there.

All my personal contacts came from my old flip phone so everything was screwed up when the verizon rep transferred them.

The “GROUPS” section is broken down and based on your accounts. Example ( Phone, Facebook, GMAIL…..) These accounts are separated into sections.

If you want to add a member under the Family, Friends or Work group it will only search contacts from your phone account. Therefore will not find contacts from GMAIL, Corporate Email, etc…
Also when you Create a new group the default location is the Phone account.

So your options are:
1. Move all of your contacts under the Phone account, which is not advisable unless you backup your contacts often.
2. Create & Categorize your contacts in Outlook or Create Groups in GMAIL. When your phone sync’s these groups will appear.
