Help SD card not recognized

Sure did. When I plug it into my pc the option to mount or unmount the SD card is not there. Also in settings on the phone it shows as no SD card in the phone.

1st off, i have seen issues with the evo and cards smaller then 2g. so in phone settings/sd & phone storage, there is no option to mount or unmount the card? you might want to consider taking back the phone in and have it taking look at.

I had the same problem. I had my Evo for 5 months. Internal memory started filling up and telling me low storage space. I was looking to see how to move Apps to SD card to free up some space on phone, and next thing I know, my SD card no longer recognized. Just says "Please insert SD card". It is the original card that came with my phone and is 8gb. I took it to Best Buy, because that's where I bought it and bought insurance through Best Buy. They looked at it and googled some tips to see if she could get it to read. After a little bit, my phone would even come up to the home screen. It just kept cycling the power on. Ugh! Then she said I would have to send it off and get a replacement phone. Thats all fine, but now, I've lost all my pics, videos, and music from my card. And there was alot! Pics that can't be recovered (my little girl who is 1yr old). Very upset!!!!
