Help My latest saved pictures doesn't show up in gallery

Hello guys, this is my first post on this forum and the forum seems to be lovely, so I hope it won't be the last.

My problem is that when I take a picture with my phone, or when someone sends me picture from whatsapp for instance it only shows up immediately in the gallery and not 2 hours later for instance. According to my gallery in the folder called 'Camera Shots' my last taken picture is in 22/8/11 and thats absolutely incorrect because I just took a picture yesterday of something, and it's not there. What is the problem?
Some guy apparently has the same issue but I can't link to the topic because I don't have posts enough LOL.

The same goes for my ringtones I have choosed. My phone automatically just choses 'Quietly Brilliant' even tho' I have defaulted another ringtone.

I hope to get some positive feedback.

Either use an app called sdrescan, or quickpic,

the phone only scans the sd card when it boots up,

so sdrescan forces a scan of the card so you can use the stock gallery

quickpic is a far better gallery , that scans each time it launches, so your pics are all up to date , it also has more options than the stock gallery.

the pros for sdrescan are that it scans all files music etc and updates them all

both available from the market

SDRescan solved my problem too - I was having the same problem with the gallery pictures and videos. Unfortunately, it didn't solve my problem with playlists, but it was worth a shot.

Problem is solved with quickpic but I found out that the Instant Upload in Google+ only scans the pictures from Gallery hence the missing pictures aren't uploaded. How to make it scans quickpic too?
