strange icon in notification bar

so from left to right, in the notification bar, I have the following icons:

3G, signal strength, battery, some weird icon that looks like a vertical black battery with a checkmark inside it, and then the clock

what is this mystery icon? I had a Droid Incredible before and never saw it.

also, the icon is not always there.

Alarm. The checkmark is supposed to be the clock hands..

lol....I'm laughing cuz this one question has popped on different forums over the past few months. First, D3 users was asking about it. It must be a new Blur thing. It must look different than the alarm icon on my Droid 1 and DX1

Of all the alarm clock icons I've seen ... it's the most ... umm ... "questionable".

When I first saw it I had no idea what it was, but i eventually figured it was for my alarm clock.

I thought alarm clock too but it's strange that A) it looks almost nothing like an alarm clock and B) it's not always there. My alarm is always set, why wouldn't the icon always be there?

would somebody unlock the bootloader on this thing already so I can get some cyanogen magic and get rid of this wierd motoblur stuff??
