1. If i download PDAnet will verizon charge me for tethering? Also i heard that if i do use this i will possibly go over the 5gb limit to the "unlimited" data plan

2. I want to download bluff my call and use it but some people have said that it's a scam and will charge you for long distance calls.

3. is rooting a droid difficult and is it worth it? Is there an app that allows your droid to send off wifi signal if you root it?

EDIT: o and i saw this home screen editor app that has 4 dots and the bottom in a compass formation and u can switch to each homescreen from swiping either up, down left or right. Anyone know which one this was?

1. If i download PDAnet will verizon charge me for tethering? Also i heard that if i do use this i will possibly go over the 5gb limit to the "unlimited" data plan. If they catch you they will charge you I am sure and they can catch you if they are so inclined to do so. Does it happen - don't see very many reports of it. Also the 5GB limit is actually for accounts WITH a tethering add on - not just normal mobile net

2. I want to download bluff my call and use it but some people have said that it's a scam and will charge you for long distance calls. Never heard of the app it might be wise to do some google searches

3. is rooting a droid difficult and is it worth it? Is there an app that allows your droid to send off wifi signal if you root it? It's actually really easy to "root" the droid. I am rooted but do not use custom roms so I can not comment on how easy they are to install but imagine they are fairly easy. Here is a guide to just "root" the device. ROOTING:Simple explanation and links gathered into one thread - Droid Forum - Verizon Droid & the Motorola Droid Forum Yes there is a application for wifi-tethering google search android-wifi-tether and it should be the first result. It's just a package you download to your phone and then install.

EDIT: o and i saw this home screen editor app that has 4 dots and the bottom in a compass formation and u can switch to each homescreen from swiping either up, down left or right. Anyone know which one this was?
