Im seriously not impressed...
its a 22min video out that goes into serious detail supposedly(First Look: Windows Phone 7 Series Hands on Demo | Laura Foy | Channel 9), i`ll check that out when i get home.
but from what i`ve seen...dont get wrong.
im happy that winmo has OFFICIALLY risen from the ashes.
its just NOT saying anything to android in my initial view of it.
and the one thing it will lack right now...is APPS!
cause apparently, its NOTHING like 6.5 on the insides.
but who the hell would want them clunky old apps anyway! (its one of the main reasons i left). though, all the sync issues, the outlook and exchange support issues, the media problems the lack of flash...all of that is done by DEFAULT in winmo. android is no where near winmo regarding those things.
i mean companies are trying to make programs to work with whats already in winmo by default.
its just...im now an open source guy and love what android has to offer NOW. its growing very fast and at least for the remainder of this year...i believe android will thrive. I know im getting a nexus one (or the desire (bravo) if it comes to verizon) to last me the rest of this year. that will give winmo time to get some dev support...some very nice looking phones and maybe on verizon by the time i can upgrade again (june 2011).
this year i am all DRRROIIIDD!
but next year...gosh i just dont know!
anyone else see the new windows phone series??
