Help Samsung Italia officialy confirm Android 1.6 for I7500

For some time Google actively support Android 1.6 and newer.
No longer. Now is supported Android 2.0 and newer.
iPhone does Google Buzz, many Android phones do not – Android and Me

And we still waiting for already unsupported Android 1.6...

Slightly OT (soz) , but you use latitude in Gmaps, and click the "updates" tab,and then post a shout out, it appears (on a PC) in your buzz message stream as a private buzz????

Looks like latitude (which I think almost no one used) was a stepping stone to buzz (which is looking quite interesting, drool over mates new N1..... etc).

Damit Samsung, pull your finger out and start coding, I've still got 12 months to run on this phone.

it says "The Galaxy is currently built around the Samsung Cupcake platform and the Donut upgrade will not be available" when they are talking about 2.x I hope that the Samsung Australia employee got it wrong and confused Donut with Eclair... if he/she meant that we won't be getting 1.6 neither they really should talk with Samsung Italy to see who's right.

For me each and every day GAOSP outbalances Samsung a little more.

Please be advised that currently there is not an update available for the Samsung Android handsets to 1.6, 2.0 or 2.1 released in the UK.

And anyway i was just trying to uploda some videos from my galaxy and the browser on my pc took me to this page. Google for Android

its not eclair or donut, its the voice search plugin that google have now removed from the market, you can still get it though
do a search for voice search on the forums. i have it on my galaxy
