cant get rid of facebook contacts

I can't get my Facebook contacts to get off of my phone list. They aren't in my people list, but when I push the phone button they show up. I chose not to sync them and did not select sync when setting up facebook.

Go to ur contacts. Click on the people drop down menu. Uncheck Facebook.

Mine does the same thing and even with Facebook unchecked they still show up. They go away if I uninstall Facebook tho

None of that worked. I had to keep removing the account, adding it back and unchecking all the sync options until it finally stuck. It took 5 or 6 times.

Well, glad ya got it fixed. I remember when i was setting my phone up, this was on my mind. I hated scrolling through countless contacts.

I have Facebook unchecked in contacts and only sync existing contacts on the facebook app. Never messed with those settings prior to this thread and didn't change a thing.
