Help Data enabled check box (Automatically turning on?)

I've posted here a few times and the replies have been extremely helpful. I have a limited data plan right now so I only want to use Wi-Fi and completely disable data over mobile networks. I checked the "data enabled" box. For the past couple weeks, that has been fine and I've occasionally checked the setting to make sure it was still disabled.

Just recently I noticed it was turned back on, so I turned it off. I check it again, it was turned on again, so I turned it off AGAIN. Something is forcing that setting to change, I am unsure what it is.

I have "My Data manager Free" to monitor the data being sent over the mobile network. I also have advanced task killer to monitor what applications are open.
I am using applications that require data, but not strictly mobile data and to my knowledge these applications never forced data over mobile networks to be enabled.

I have the "Data enabled" widget on my home screen to quickly display what state the setting is in. It appears as if every time I turn it on, 5 minutes later (or sooner) it's turned back on.

I don't believe I had this problem before, so I would have to assume it's something I've installed on my phone. Task killer and data manager aren't giving me any information that would indicate one of these applications forces the "Data enabled" setting.

Any information or suggestions you might have, I appreciate thanks!

I am currently using the Tasker app with a profile/widget that turns mobile data on/off. I have unlimited data, and am simply doing this to save battery life throughout the day, but I believe this would work well for you.

I am not saying that it is a malware (but it can be). Uninstall the applications like My Data manager. Some apps are doing it automatically. If you need a manager, Android have a built-in Task Manager that you can use.

There are applications that enable this packet data. Some applications are games with malware that wants to get your personal data. Be careful in downloading! And install an antivirus on your smart phone. I am using AVG on android.
