I am trying to do the following.

-Using Widget Locker
-I add a custom slider but am trying to use custom icon's
-I read somewhere that I can use desktop visualizer to select my application and the icon that is used

Here is what I tried:

1)Create custom slider with widget locker
2)Select Shortcut -> Application
3)Then point to desktop visualizer
4)Then it just adds a link to desktop visualizer on my slider rather than letting me select app and icon. When i open desktop visualizer(DV) from the slider it pulls up DV and then places my selected app with icon on the home screen rather than changing that link on the slider.
5)This image shows an example of a slider that I am trying to replicate with these icons as well(which I can't seem to find)

Please Help!

Thanks!

Another Question - I am looking for some nice folder icons . (not icon packs but image files). I need something that accents well with a black and white wallpaper.

Im not sure if this is what youre trying to do but if so...this is how I did it.

Long press on WidgetLocker Home Toggle Screen
Select to add a Custom Slider
Choose left or right side, press dropdown to select the action from the list
Choose 'Select Shortcut'
From the list choose "desktop visualizer'
[In DV screen] Select to choose a icon (I have text icons installed on my SD card to choose from)
[In DV screen] Select to choose an action
[In DV screen] For action select Launch Application
Choose whatever option u want then select OK
Thats it!

Has anyone had lag with their widget locker? For mines, after pressing the sleep button, it lags for 5 seconds, because it turns on. Sometimes even on the stock lock screen, unlock it, and goes to widget locker.

You'll get that with Widget Locker... look in the settings for the explanation of the "5 second rule". If you're rooted, you can bypass that in the settings.
