Ordered mine on the 8th. Black.

Thanks to this site, as well as Tmonews.com, I'm fairly sure that I'll know how to do pretty much everything on the myTouch before it was even released in the US.

I've been stuck in a much older generation for ages now, and have been looking for a good reason to get the hell out of it because I didn't want to switch to AT&T for the iphone (I used to sell cell phones for a dealer with multiple carriers and never once had a good experience with them). This phone is definitely a good reason though. The G1 wasn't enough, and Blackberries weren't enough either.

I love this phone, however, I do plan on handing it over to my father in a couple of months once a newer/better phone comes out, as the explosion of Android phones hits the market. But I'm glad this phone is out there. It's an incredibly good 2nd intro. to the market. The G1 was a decent phone, but talking to friends, they saw it as just another decent alternative to the Blackberries. This phone looks the part....I was never really concerned with that, but many MANY other people are. I'd venture to guess this brings a fair amount of people to the new gen. of phones, just as it did for me.

I Ordered mine about the 15th..

I had just switched back to the Blackberry a couple months ago. Just got tired of the sheer mass of the G1 and all the stupid little things it wouldnt do for me like open an Excel sheet yada yada yada. Well after much thought I decided now that I was forced to change carriers that maybe the new Mytouch would work for me, less moving parts to fail, larger screen then my BB 8900.

I have high hopes at least.
