So far I have had a really bad exp with Orange, can't really flaw the handset but found so many problems with their service.
(People say 'Three' are bad but the last 18mo with them have been a dream compared to the week with Orange)

Any thoughts? Do you reckon T-Mob are any better than Orange or about the same?

Cheers,
All

Hi,

What problems did you have with Orange? I was with them for years with no issues (except when I tried to get a good deal at the end of my contract!). Whenever I had to talk to them, they were there and helpful, although I often had to wait on hold to get them!

T-Mobile have always been great for CS skills, however when I picked up my G2 Touch on Saturday the store told me that they have recently moved their call centres overseas. Since then they have had customers come in quoting issues with CS staff due to "language barriers"

I hope they havent messed up what used to be a great operation!

Cheers

I have called T-mobile customer services a few times since getting my HTC Hero and they have fantastic customer service. Each time i called, the advisor always had a Welsh accent, so I'm guessing that the call centre is in Wales somewhere not overseas.

I'm really impressed with T-mo. After being with o2 for around 6 years, compared to them, T-mo are 10 times better.

it's in Merthyr Tydfil, so good ole taffy customer service, second to none! sorta freaks them out if you stand outside and say in your best serial killer voice "so look out your window muhahahahaha" (no, I've never done that, honest:p)

It's odd that you had to negotiate with them as actually that deal you have is pretty much just the standard offer you get online as a new customer. On the Orange site - 39.50 for 1200 minutes, unlimited texts and the 500mb data for 18 months, that includes a free phone.

i got the phone 2 months before the end of my contract, i could of waited till my contract ended but i wanted the phone now lol

CS with both in my experience is good, maybe T Mobile just pip orange from a business point of view, I look after a corporate contract so have a lot of experience of CS!

IMO Orange have a better network (I'm biased as I can only get Orange at home ;)) than T Mobile but then with the T Mobile and 3 sharing networks that is only going to get better.

Now Vodafone CS that is a completly different kettle of fish!
