I've searched the web exhaustively and cannot find the Cyanogenmod Evo 4g Asian ringtones that come with the phone, they also come with the Destroyer ROM. They are in notifications and ringtones at the bottom of the list under unidentifiable Asian characters, it looks like Japanese but I'm not sure it could be Chinese or Korean.

The ringtones are really fun and upbeat and people always are jealous they sound similar to Rugrats, I need them because I have an Evo 3d now and do not want to install Cyanogenmod on my new phone.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

helllllllllpppppp

I've looked through all cyanogen and destroyer roms and they're not there but they somehow show up on the phones when the ROM is flashed. i believe they are hidden in some APK so someone will need to point me to a link or privately email me the ringtones/notifications in a zip file which wouldn't take more than a minute of their time )-:

they do in fact show up in the ringtone/notification folder in media once the ROM is flashed but they are not there in the stock modded roms zip format before flashing.

do a nandroid of your current ROM and Settings flash the ROM extract the ringtones then restore the nandroid. Or You can open the zip file with a zip manager like 7zip and see if they are in the media/ringtones & notifications folder then extract them from the zip Either way you get your ringtones

thanks for the recommendation but thats what I was trying to avoid I have everything set up perfectly and it's rooted sprint stock via the developer hack.

i'm sure theres someone out there with the files on their cyanogen and you'd be helping me and all the non-cyanogen users to get theses awesome ringtones/notifications.

also, i don't know if the package for the evo 3d has the ringtones i need because the ringtones im talking about were on the evo 4g.

Again you can dl the ROM and search through it with 7zip or a similar zip manager.

i have a zip manager, i mentioned above that the zip file does not include the asian ringtones or notifications in the actual folders, i've searched through every folder using a *.m3p gpp and wav file for the files, they are not there.

i have a feeling the ROM unpakages the asian ringtones from an APK file in the ROM itself, so i have absolutely no access to these files myself because i no longer have an EVO 4g to flash.

Your not in the hospital dying are you? I would have to break out my plan of mass destruction if I didn't have access to my baby girl here. OH THE HORROR

Why isnt there a smiley of a nuclear explosion :(
To clarify, I have access to a computer, but not internet speeds that make it worthwhile to be on it.

I'll be moving out in a week and I'm the last roomate here so the guy in charge of our utilities decided I can go without cable or internet. I'm sleeping in a pretty bare room on a mattress in the floor. It's like im a damned refugee :eek:

I can use my hotspot on the phone but that's basically useless when I'm used to always being on WiFi speeds. Tried to download decks reloaded last night and it was like a 50 minute download when it usually would take 3.

I'm not even going to bother trying to upload any roms
