Help Touch Screen Not Responsive

I am having a problem out of no where my touch screen goes unresponsive during a text message and i nothing works for a few seconds i push buttons and nothing happens and then all of a sudden it types all the buttons ive pushed while it was unresponsive! anyone else having this problem? it happens every 5-10 mins Help anyone else having this problem?

Maybe lagging because you have to many apps running in the backround. Try Adv Taskiller from the market.

well its not that my swype keyboard and android keyboard wont work wtff! but i can use the hard keyboard

No one has had this problem? it seems to be the soft keyboards that pop up i cant press and letters but i can scroll up and down the convo hmmmmm

It almost sounds like the phone is busy doing something every 10 or 15 minutes... like updating a weather app or an RSS feed or something.

yeah its weird idk ughh this is frustrating it just started doing this today too

I agree with this quote.

My phone had been very sluggish and was getting worse over the past week and a half, the typing wasn't responsive, so the other day I downloaded Advance Taskiller which showed many more apps running than what was in the Menu>>settings>apps>running apps.

Everything was very responsive after using this program.

I did a System Update yesterday and the usual touch responsiveness problem that was so frustrating, seems to be gone. I have about 10-15 running apps in the background.
