Clear Full Body or Screen Protectors - huge sale

I received my order today. I ordered one set for Droid and one set for iPod Touch.
They only sent me two iPod touch screen protectors, instead of the correct TWO sets of FULL BODY protection AND two screen protectors.

I emailed them and I hope they will send me the correct items. If not, I'm returning them.

I don't know why but I thought that there were two in each set not just a front and back.

See...that's what I thought, too. The iPod page says that, but the Droid page doesn't. I'm wondering if they changed it on us...

Anyways, I just installed my Droid set. It's complete garbage. I have done this a lot with other brands, but this company sucks. I'll post some pictures when my camera charges up a bit. Complete garbage.

I risked taking off my 100% screen protector that I order from Amazon for $3. I took it off in hopes of the Stealth Protector to be better. Well, now both are wasted because the new one looks like crap. Lovely.

If you have to pay $9.99 for 2 sets anyway, Case Mate has their Clear Armor for that price including free shipping on all US orders. I have this on my phone now. It is not bad although I gave up on the side pieces as they just looked awful. The screen protector is great though and the back pieces went on easily and still look good four months after being applied.
I just thought to order backup screen protectors as they all get grundgy after awhile.
I emailed StealthGuard and asked them about the number of protectors in a set and will let everyone know what their answer is if I hear from them.

Thanks. I, too, will let you guys know when I hear back from them.
I'm hoping they're a nice company to work with.

On the box I got, the return address is a PO Box in Shelby Township, Michigan. That's about 20 minutes from me. Yet it took a week to get here...

Same here. I will give them until the end of the week to respond and then I will simply return the items I ordered and expect a full refund if they have not bothered. Their "sale" price turned out to be the same as case mate's regular price since they only sent me one protector for my $5.00. Not such a great deal since case mate is a known brand and this company is not so much.

I love these "money back guarantees" that are completely voided once you apply the skins to your phone. What the hell is the point? You won't know if it's trash or not until it's applied, and at that point your money is gone. And to even return the product if you opened the package and seen it was crap right then, you still lose over half what you paid for a "restocking" fee.

Even on sale I wouldn't touch this company's products, stick to the better known brands that aren't much more and have better reviews. Although I assume many of the companies that have "Guard" in their name are selling the same thing as StealthGuard .. Zagg and Case Mate probably actually use different material/designs.

Some bad news, but good news, too! I don't mind the iPod error too much. But at least I'm getting a second Droid set. Although the screen protector sucks. It makes the screen weird to look at and hard to use with my fingers.

To the first reply, I wrote:
"Thank you so much for the quick reply!
I have another question. When I placed my order, I could have sworn the Droid product page said it came with two sets. Now it says one. Was I supposed to get two for the Droid, too?"

She replied with:
"Hi xxxxxxx,

I just reviewed your order. We actually do not have full body protectors for the Ipod Touch just yet. The item description is incorrect and should read screen protectors only. I apologize about this. So we will refund you for that portion of your order and we will have a second set for the Droid shipped out tomorrow. I apologize for the inconvenience."

Just got a response finally from StealthGuard...

Hi XXX,

Thank-you for contacting Stealth Guards Customer Support.

You should have received 4 sets instead of 2. Replacements will be shipped tomorrow for you.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

Thanks,
Lindsay

Yea! Wonder what was going on there. Were they just hoping no one would call them on the short changing? At least they are accepting responsibility for the error.

WOW. Do you wonder if their customer service is even talking to their distribution at all? Your first email said mailing tomorrow on the Touch full body protectors on the 23rd and then on the 24th said they didn't even make them! Then said they were mailing out the droid full body protectors tomorrow AGAIN on the 24th! Mine also said mailing tomorrow on the 24th. Even snail mail can't be that slow. Something just ain't right here.
