Hello Micromax A73 users...
I have modded boot.img for your device to get you basic needs of a rooted phone n actually it will help u root your device too...but as u have got recovery already, rooting will be easier with that....

Features:
1) Unsecure (For those who r not rooted yet: helps rooting device, after flashing this boot.img, u can root the device using UnlockRoot or SuperOneClick.)

2) init.d support (to load/run scripts on boot)

3) Adobe flash support (need to confirm, don't have device)

4) Initialize ext2.ko module on boot


How To Flash Using SP Flash Tools:

You must have drivers installed already to the system for the device before u begin the procedure.

1) Switch off the device completely
2) Run SP Flash Tools on ur PC
3) Put the downloaded boot.img in the same folder as ur scatter file
4) Browse to the scatter file of ur device on pc where u saved
5) Load that scatter file
6) Now u will see all partitions of ur devices selected in the list below
7) UNTICK all except boot (make sure its path is to the downloaded boot.img)
8) Now hit Download button only (n not format+download)
9) It will show waiting for device in bottom bar
10) Now connect the device using the usb cable to pc
11) It will automatically put ur device in download mode n will flash boot partition only
12) When everything is finished it will show Download OK dialogue.
13) Close the SP Flash Tools
14) Detach the device from PC n Power On.
15) Done

bt rooting with d recovery is easier n most of us hv rooted successfully with hlp of dt method..
bt yeant having flash is a big prob n nither does skype wrk so front cam is useless..plz do smfin with dt

Once u flash this boot image by sp flash tool then u can have the Adobe flash player working on it as well as the other scripts also work and the ext2 module will load on boot itself only so have this flashed on A73 guys and haan once its flashed as if i am having a flash player on my device but dint know if its working or not as uptill now havent installed it so i will check it and if its working then will provide you the link to download it till then have the boot image flashed on your devices.

Thanks buddy and haan everyone over here may have the CWM recovery on their devices so you can provide the link for that so that they can flash it. And haan please provide the steps in the OP for them to flash it by SP flash tool as many of them dont know it. To all the A73 users... This is to confirm that i have flashed this boot image yesterday only and the device is working fine so have it flashed.

It will unsecure for can use superoneclick root unlocker gingerbreak or anything about root tool and it will help you install adobe flash player on your phone.

Ok guys, I will provide steps to flash this img using SP Flash Tools in OP soon....
N I know u guys r already rooted because u got recovery from very beginning, I just added that u even can root after flashing this img by using regular rooting methods og GB which were useless previously.
N sm1 ws worried abt data being lost....no, ur data will not b affected by a single byte, this is a boot img only n u hv to flash just that one only,so nothing will happen to data or even system...
Just wait for me to reach hostel n I will give u the steps to flash plus flashable zip for those having CWM recovery already.

You will be able to run scripts on boot which are called init.d scripts..they reside in /system/etc/init.d folder. After flashing this boot.img u will have to manually create init.d folder at aforesaid location using root explorer if u r already rooted OR root the device using popular SuperOneClick or UnlockRoot n then create the folder....
After that u need to install busybox to /system/xbin to run the scripts...
Download Busybox Installer by Jrummy OR Busybox Free by Stericson from Google Play Store and install busybox to xbin.
Now put some kickass scripts in init.d folder n go zoooommmm...

Examples of popular init.d scripts:
zipalign (zipaligns apk on boot so they load faster)
S97ramscript (ram management script)
99Supercharger (make the device faster)
Sdtweak (which increases sd card read cache memory)

R u rooted? N have busybox installed? Busybox be installed in xbin...
If yes, then create init.d folder in /system/etc/
Put script in that folder, give all permissions n then reboot to check.

Could you let me know if you are rooted or not if you are not rooted then we can have your stock recovery dumped by using this method to root and then following this...

Dump recovery using terminal emulator.
Download the terminal emulator from market/play store and then open it and put these commands in it

su
mount -o remount,exec /dev/block//vold/179:1 /sdcard
cd /sdcard
./dump_image recovery /sdcard/recovery.img

After this check the sd card you will have the recovery dumped upload it and provide the link as if we need it for further use.

So if you are not rooted yet then please do these things or else PM me and i will let you know what you need to do.
