Lack of Call/End Buttons..

We all know the buttons are missing.. but are there any apps that could add widgets to the home screens? Or a home replacement?

why would you need this? it would be no different than using the soft buttons already in the software.

My wife wants. I don't really care either way. She hates having to go to phone then to call log to pull up recent calls.

She only calls the same few people, and shes used to hitting the send button to pull up the call log. So if she could emulate the same on the droid, she'd be much happier.

If she could add the call log softkey on the home screen, she'd be good to go, also.

Have her try Dialer One (market). She can set it to open in the call log instead of contacts, it's a pretty customizable app and works flawlessly.

I forgot to mention that Dialer One has speed dial as well, that may help.

Or direct dial icons!

If she calls only few people and likes lists you can make direct dial icons. To make it more condensed you can then make a file on the home screen and put those contacts in there. Thats how I have it. Much easier then going into call-logs

I got Launcher+ to add more home screens - though 2.1 update is said to add this natively - and on one of the additional home screens, I just made icons of the 10 people I call the most. Now, turn on phone, go to that page, push the icon to make a call.. how does it get any easier?
