The 4g speeds.... I have had my bionic do quite a while, but locked him into 3g due to constant data drops on GB.

After THE ICS update, I cleaned house on my phone, and it's like having a brand new tool. I didn't want to "Hooray" right away... wanted to give it a chance to see if the 4g was just a fleeting thing. Looks like it's here to stay.

Finally, I can use the phone for what it was intended for. Streaming dirty videos at lightning speed. Lol. Joking.

Yeah, the phone does work a whole lot smoother. I don't like webtop 3.0 though...

And I do stream dirty videos once in awhile! lol (not kidding) :D

I have to say that I've never had any of the popular issues with my Bionic and always thought it was a heck of a phone, but the ICS Update has breathed new life into what I already thought was a phenomenal device.

@Satires - I personally love Webtop 3.0. When I plug my phone into the lapdock, now it looks just like my tablet. The only thing I wish it did was allow lapdock specific set ups.

The ICS update has completely transformed my Bionic from a problem ridden device to a smooth and much faster unit. The following are the changes I have experienced over the last 36 hours:
1. Smooth and seamless connectivity, both wifi and 3g/4g.
2. Pop up roaming banner came on once in the last 36 hours as opposed to 2 to 3 times per hour before.
3. Bluetooth connectivity is fast and secure.
4. Phone no longer lags between dialiing and execution of phone calls.
5. Battery charges a lot faster.

In retrospect, my Bionic has never worked this well since I picked it up on launch day. It feels like a completely new phone.
I hope all those who were experiencing issues are having relief and are enjoying this "new" Bionic.

It depends on which leak she was on. The lower the number the more bugs that were corrected in the later lakes and OTA.

If she isn't planning to sell her Bionic in the next three months ... why is the question being asked? Install the supported OTA.

The next one is even more troublesome. It is advised to do a Factory Data Reset after installing the OTA.

If you plan to dump the Bionic in the next three months ... why bother doing anything?

I recommend using a mouse with the Labdock(s) since the built-in pads are pretty marginal.

Attach your Bionic turned on. Turn on the Labdock. After it syncs move some icons with the mouse and you will see the "three panel" homescreen in the background.

The app drawer icon is in the upper right side of the screen.

You can position icons 7 wide on each panel.

It really does work. The Lapdock configuration can be and is totally different from the Bionic configuration.

Sounds great, glad for you guys!
My wife's is still on some leaked ICS update (honestly, not sure). Hope I'm not hijacking too much, but has anyone come from one of those to the OTA notice a big difference?

.232 leak in my opinion is not really any different than .246

If she has any doubts, maybe she should stay with the .232 leak. I didn't notice any bugs in .232 and I use my phone a lot. At least she's got a way to go back if she chooses. :)

I've been shopping around for used bionics and may have one this weekend still on gingerbread, I'll probably off my bionic that has the ota update. lol
