Help Remove Clock/Date/Charging from Lock Screen

This is pretty dumb, if you put security on your Lock Screen, such as a PIN for example, it won't let you remove the clock, the date or the charging info, that is unless i'm missing something... The options to remove these things become grayed out once you put security in place. Anyway to remove these things with root? I'm on an OMEGA ROM.

Downloading a custom lockscreen could possibly help this issue...

Maybe one like Widget Locker
