Under your bed
Howdy all, I have been busy so haven't stopped in for a while. Honestly I am shocked and saddened by the lack of support and interest in this phone.

I love my Atrix HD, not as much as I loved the Atrix 4g when it came out, but this is easily the best phone in it's class and the price is insane.

Ok all that aside, I got the OTA update last night, and my phone freaked out. Ok that's a bit dramatic, actually it made a lot of things cooler, but it did jack up mu texting programs, none of them worked. I use Handcent, it would not send nor receive, neither would the stock text program. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling, shutting the phone down, uninstalling handcent and installing GO, and nothing. Had to call ATT today and I am not sure how, but they fixed it with some message push from "home base".

So just a heads up all.

In other news, the update does good things to the camera, dialer and sped the phone up. :D

I purchased mine from Walmart for $20 on November 2. Nothing about the phone has disappointed me yet. No battery issues at all. I stream Pandora for 5 hours straight last week at work and the battery was still kicking by the time I got home. Maybe I was just lucky, but either way this phone is an amazing upgrade from my first android phone; Samsung Admire.

Edit: If I knew anything about Android development or phone customization, then I could devote tons of time to working on it. I was kind of disappointed in the lack of work on this phone when I came looking for it. I mean, I know the phone is only a few months old and the bootloader is locked so I'm not EXTREMELY disappointed or anything.

Love the phone. Hate AT&T. When you lose 4G you go to Edge which is slower
than dialup. Going on vacation and when I come back I am going to pay the ETF
and drop them.

I find this odd. Do you mean when you loose 4G or LTE. I have only been on edge once since having the phone and it was when I had no business getting a signal at all. Otherwise I am always on 4G or LTE.

I guess the KC area has really good coverage.

love mine, except for the woeful battery life. i may try the razr maxx battery upgrade, but i don't know if i want to dick around with the phone. sounds like people get way better battery life with it though.

but i love the phone. i like the almost stock jb look. the best feature is the swiping the first page left to get to the quick settings menu. no more power control widget needed. :)

Hey define this "razr maxx battery upgrade" of which you speak. I have not heard of this yet.

I'm loving mine, still learning it, left Android fora while. Came with ICS on it, which I find far different from Gingerbread.

only thing I am having a hard time with is the screen sensitivity. It's just horrible :(

Hey guys. I joined the site after reading this thread. What you need is the app SGS Touchscreen booster.

Go to presets click on optimized. Hit Apply changes...reboot

Enjoy your new much better screen sensitivity phone...

I have my phone set to custom with

Sensitivity setting set to 0

Duration set to 0

Min Motion set to 0

the last 2 settings on max

Try that. I find it as sensitive as my iphone 4 which is very good. Breathed new life into this phone again :)

As for coverage, I'm using mine unlocked to Tmobile. In Chicago, I get 4G LTE on tmobile by default which is very fast. Love the pentaband capability of this phone.

Motorola hit it out the park. If only the camera was like my old One X...it would be perfect & shy of the the new One /Galaxy S4

Hopefully an app can fix this otherwise I recommend this phone to anyone.
