pics on forum

Can you post a quick guide to getting pics on the forum? I've sized to less than 100k, tried dragging to message, tried using insert image above... both times pic resolved as about 36 million bit of code. Mac 10.8.2 is that makes a difference.

Hello mafac and welcome! Are you trying to post an image in a post?

Normally, one uses the Go Advanced button below the posting entry box and the attachment tool - looks like a paper clip - to upload pictures here. Works fine on a Mac.

Problem is that tool is down at the moment. Admin is aware of the problem and is working on it.

When it's up again, we'll be sure to post back here and let you know.

In the meantime, you can upload your pictures to one of the popular photo or file sharing sites and link it in to your post using the image tool - it's a yellow icon with a sun over mountains.

In the meantime, you can upload your pictures to one of the popular photo or file sharing sites and link it in to your post using the image tool - it's a yellow icon with a sun over mountains.

I've trying this from both Imgur and a publicly shared photo on my Google Drive, and I get the "broken link" graphic in the edit window, and an empty post if I actually try to post it anyway.
