An awkward request!!!

Im trying to find out if i can root my sons vtech V reader, lol i know. specs. Samsung S3C2440
processor (ARM 9 architecture), 64MB RAM,
expandable storage via SD card (takes at least
4GB, dunno SDHC)

ARM920T core; 16/32-bit RISC microprocessor
with separate 16 KB instruction and 16 KB data
cache, MMU to handle virtual memory
management, TFT& STN LCD controller, NAND
flash boot loader, system manager (chip select
logic and SDRAM controller), 3-ch UART, 4-ch
DMA, 4-ch timers with PWM, I/O ports, RTC, 8-ch 10-bit ADC and touch screen interface,
camera interface, AC97 audiocodec interface,
IIC-BUS interface, IIS-BUS interface, USB host,
USB device, SD host & multimedia card
interface, 2-ch SPI and PLL for clock
generation.

i have searched a bit and could not find anything that says yes you can root it. unfortunatley, in order to root a device you will have to have a dev (or someone with knowledge of finding exploits) to want to root it. if there is no interest then there is no way to root the phone. rooting usually requires an exploit in the os that can be used.

so i'm sorry to say that i do not see one for it at the moment. not sure why you would want to root it though.

I figured if i could install linux i wouldn't have to buy all the games just install from sd.
