An hour ago I was at work trying out a Sprint technical salesperson's EVO phone. I dare say it was the highlight of my day. I was so in awe of the phone that I didn't even think to ask when the 2.1 update for the Moment would come out.
I really like my Moment, but if I could get an EVO I am pretty sure I would ditch my old phone in a heartbeat. He walked me through a few things in the EVO, but again I was too surprised to think of any good questions.
Some thoughts on the EVO:

Some thoughts on the EVO:
- Great dimensions to the phone. Thin and not heavy. I'd rate it as one of the best looking phones out there.
- The screen seems huge. HUGE! Even if it truthfully isn't all that much bigger than the Moment. I watch videos on my phone a lot as it is my only impetus to go to the gym. The EVO would be good for my health.
- The tech guy said he gets a solid day of battery life. That may not sound like a lot, but hey, he works for Sprint and probably uses the phone constantly.
- Multitouch appeared to work
- In the camera app it did facial recognition
- He mentioned that this was an early ROM and he has updates. Even though the performance of the phone was great I would expect even more on the final version.
