[Verizon] What is the latest version of TWRP?

Easiest way to install if you are rooted is by downloading the goomanger app from the playstore, hitting options, then hitting install openrecoveryscript. Takes care of it for you.

Excellent! Had GooManager installed for a while, forgot about it :) Worked great!

Installed the newest recovery and Scary Alien's Root Toolkit still fails to identify recovery :(

What is the latest version of TWRP for the LTE Nexus and a download link? I'm going to re-install it, because Scary Alien's Android Root Toolkit says "Recovery Identification failed" when I have it check to see what recovery and version I have. use not do that.

Yeah, sorry...I've got outstanding changes that I made a while back and haven't had time to finish testing and publishing.

I have to download and scan the recovery to include it's signature in my app...so, if it's not there, it's just because the doesn't recognize it (yet).

It looks like I haven't included 2.3.3.0, but I'll put it on the list.

Thanks!

Well Scary Alien, would you please get with it? I mean you have an awesome free app and it is broken. It doesn't have the latest version of TWRP nor come to think of it Touch CWRecovery YET? With all the everything nothing you have to do around here, WHY HAVEN'T you gotten around to doing this for us with your free app?

I am being totally sarcastic in case it's not obvious

And that is all I have to say on this issue.

TWRP 2.4 is out. Easy way to install is via Goo Manager (menu... install open recovery script)

CHANGELOG for 2.4.0.0:
-Using libtar instead of busybox's tar for better control over tar file creation and breaking the 2GB barrier that busybox imposes (thanks to bigbiff)
-Support for exFAT formatted sdcards (also thanks to bigbiff)
-Support for decrypting Samsung TouchWiz encrypted devices including internal and external storage (special thanks to a3955269 for figuring it out)
-Improvements to OpenRecoveryScript including displaying a proper GUI while the script is running
-Added wipe cache and dalvik after ADB Sideload
-Replaced many system calls with their native C counterparts
-Fixed bugs in file manager where it would display an empty list after moving or deleting a folder
-Fixed AOSP recovery commands to run after decryption on encrypted devices
-Improvements for building TWRP in CM10.1
-Other minor bugfixes and improvements
NOTE: 2.4.0.0 is, as always, still compatible with your older backups!

Scary Alien,

Let me clear something up...I wasn't trying to say anything was wrong with your app...I thought something was screwed up on my phone and your app couldn't detect what recovery I had because of all this 0 directory crap. Your app is great and thanks for putting in the time to make it :)

Oh, no worries, darkcyber--never read into or took any offense whatsoever :).

And thank you (again) for the kind words--very much appreciated.

I've been pretty busy since my last update (November) and haven't really had (or taken) the time to devote to it like I really wanted to.

I actually have been working on a new release over the last week or so...testing thing at this very minute ;) :).

Stay tuned :).

Seems 2.4.1 was released on 2-1-13. Don't know what the fix is for, but you may want to check it out.

There's a changelog :p

What's new in 2.4.1.0:
Fixed a problem with mkdosfs that formatted sdcards to 2GB
Fixed handoff between vfat and exFAT on devices where blkid didn't detect vfat (fixes some issues with mounting sdcards)
Fixed problems with changing working directory on MD5 creation/checking that may have prevented unmounting
Backups will now store a copy of the backup log after the backup is completed (only if backup is successful)
