The prominent Touch screen problem

Hi ,
Seems there is everyone with the touch screen problems in the a70 screens lately !!

I had the same and still the phone is in the service centre ...
For me , that problem happened after no where with unlocking the screen !
Nothing at all !

As far as the experiences go , the problem does not go off even after re flashing the device neither by a simple factory reset !

I think everyone with the problem must post the approx date of purchase and the date it went hay wire ! Is it something the company has done ?

May be a good discussion will sort out the ways to get the problem solved !
Has anyone visited the service centre and the problem solved ? Was the screen replaced or not ! Etc

All comments please , may be something good result can be spastically obtained

Hello Ninad,

When we charge the mobile with other charger other than the original one then A70 gives me touch screen problem.

Also please note that when the charging is 99% then the touch screen doesn't work or misbehave or the screen cannot be unlocked by sliding.

My touch is reversed....It takes the input on the top on my tapping at the bottom....

The same thing happened earlier also but luckily i was in warranty and they gave it fully repaired...They said that they replaced the board...


I think my problem is with the kernel and maybe everyone's...maybe that's why we are not able to make touch work in 2.3.7 [CM 7]..

My touch works perfectly but the input is in some other position on the screen...
The capacitive button's input is on the center of the screen...

Can someone look into the problem ...

in my case, when i used to swipe from left to right on the top, the screen used to get unlocked !

the greatest problem is, The ppl at service center themselves dont know the cause

Btw, what is the approx date you purchased and what date that screen problem took place ??

I bought it on 22 October 2011 and my first problem occurred in September somewhere.....

i had bought my cell on 9th October 2011 and d problem occurred with my replaced touchscreen(just 2 months old)(my touchscreen was not working after a fall) in and around September... After that I didnt go to service centre...
-even I got that reversed touch problems after charging with other charger...

my problem is also started on 10sept i purchesed it on 22sept


my friends touch problem also started when his warrenty one month is remaining(dnt knw date).....after repair problem occured again in 2 mnths....(no screenfall ,no other charger use....as he uses his phone lyk he is having iphone)

my screen was replaced in July or something due to a fall... and my new screen showed ths problem in September...
so it did go bad in september, but it was not for original screen....

Mine Mobile Screen having Problem ..

when i unlock the phone .. after some time screen moving left-right etc automatically..... sometimes hang between two screens at center.

and Home button pressed automatically etc.

Sadly >>bye<< micromax dont reply my email.... and i dont know may be no >>poo<< micromax service center in my place

what to do help guys.

m in stock rom... and mobile is more than 1 year old.
