Ubuntu phone

I would like to see a section of the forum for Ubuntu Phone developers and those interested in Ubuntu Phone, such as myself, where we can find out more about how this operating system is progressing. I have absolutely no ability to code nor do I want to get into programming but I'm interested in installing this OS on my Galaxy S3 LTE when Ubuntu Phone is finalised.

That's great and thank you. I don't trust Google but I have a Galaxy S3 - daft or what? I had a succession of iPhones including the iPhone 5 but I got fed up with dropped calls and iOS. So when I heard about Ubuntu Phone and, the possibility of installing it onto an Android phone I switch over.
I'm not a developer or geek, just a bod from the street that's interested in technology and this Ubuntu Phone software, and hardware, so I thought it would be something interesting to other forum users.

I wouldn't call it daft. In the minority, sure, but not daft.

Lots of people run Around with their Google connections severed. Don't sync to the cloud, leave location service off, only use local files, that sort of thing. Who you trust is your business.
