leaving Wi-Fi on all the time????

maybe at first, but soon it will become your handy friend, and youll want to have extra charge cables with like a home station so battery power is never a worry.

then you may ant to look into this, ive found it very handy to keep wifi on when in "sleep" i can finish large downloads and use little power.

also only program that works right on my LG OV to make wifi stay on.

Hi all I have just bought a Wi-Fi only tablet and was wondering shall I leave Wi-Fi turned on all the time on the tablet or shall I only connect it when I use the tablet ??? Many thanks, Dave

wifi does not take up much battery to run so i would leave it on for most of the time. it will save some battery life if you turn it off. so it is up to you or not. either way it really is not hurting anything.

Thanks, I was going to leave Wi-Fi switched on on the tablet even when I turn the tablet off, is that pointless doing that or will it just take longer to charge up? At least Wi-Fi will be on when I turn the tablet on

regardless if wifi is on or not background process will still try to connect to the internet. If it is off these process's will still run and try to perform their functions. On a wifi only tablet this is what is going to kill your battery. The wifi signal as long as strong wont deplete your battery that much.

Going off that then it's better to just leave the Wi-Fi switched on on the tablet all the time so apps can connect to the internet, especially if apps try to connect but can't and then they eat the battery more because they can't connect, thanks
